
Graeme Wilson is the Graphic Design judge.
Graeme Wilson is the director leading on marketing and creative strategy for clients at Leeds digital marketing agency Headland. Graduating in 1983 from Norwich School of Art and Design he spent the early part of his career as a packaging designer based in the south of England working on briefs for Habitat, Cadbury’s and Crown among many others.
In 1988 Graeme was appointed Design Manager at Kenner Parker Tonka, working on leading toy brands and licences taking responsibility for all below the line creative work including packaging, literature and exhibitions.
In 1992 Graeme moved to Electronic Arts (EA Sports, EA Games) as Marketing Services Director responsible for the delivery of all integrated above and below the line campaigns across the businesses European territories. During this period he worked on the launch of computer game titles such as Prince of Persia, FIFA, Theme Park, and PGA Tour Golf.
Graeme moved to Yorkshire at the end of 1998 to head up marketing communications and product styling at Pace Micro Technology. A substantial aspect of his brief was to support the launch of Sky’s digital pay TV service and subsequently the launch of Sky+.
Graeme joined the Senior Management team at Leeds based digital marketing agency Headland in 2004 at a time when the digital sector was making the shift from ‘we must have a website’ to targeted, brand led online communications with significant ROI targets attached. In the past 6 years Graeme has worked with Alton Towers Resort, Universal Studios, Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, Sunderland AFC Foundation and Matalan accounts.
